The Plants science TREE was developed as part of the Gatsby Plant Science Summer School project to address the decline in student numbers in plant science. The impact of the TREE in engaging a wide student audience with plant science is reported in Levesley et al 2014, New Phytologist. The impact of the Summer Schools in increasing the pipeline of plant science researchers is reported in Levesley et al. The Plant Cell, 2012.
